Importance of This Puja on Ekadashi Tithi and at the Brihaspati Temple

On 5 November, along with Thursday, it is also Ekadashi tithi, which is dedicated to Lord Shri Vishnu himself, the aaradhya dev of Devguru Brihaspati. It is believed that when puja is done at the Brihaspati Temple on Ekadashi, Guru Grah becomes very sattvik and strong by the influence of his master Lord Vishnu, because of which the negative effect of Rahu (the Chandal effect) begins to calm on its own. It is said that to cut through this Chandal effect of Rahu and Guru, the Guru Brihaspati Temple in Kashi is the most powerful energy center in the world. This is the same Siddh place where Devguru himself installed the “Brihaspatishwar” Shivling and did penance. A puja done here on this day cuts through Rahu’s web of illusion and reawakens the auspicious wisdom of Devguru Brihaspati.
